Excavator Operator (Forestry Applications)

Job Description


The position is responsible to perform the equipment operation functions related to highway drainage and repair as assigned


  • Operate various forms of heavy highway equipment.

  • Use all equipment safely.

  • Drive standard shift vehicles.


  • Must possess strong equipment operations skills.

  • Have a current valid CDL driver's license and an acceptable driving record. Must have transportation to and from Company office.

  • Be able to lift fifty to sixty pounds (50 - 60lbs.).

  • Be able to comply with Company Drug and Alcohol Policy.

  • Be able to work overtime, nights and weekends.

  • Minimum of Three years' experience operating excavator and skid steer

  • Prior experience with vegetation/forestry work is preferred

  • Highway maintenance or construction skills are preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
