Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Manage the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Supervise the payroll process and ensure timely and accurate payment to employees.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls.
- Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in corporate accounting.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, accounting principles, and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero or similar platforms.
- Experience in public accounting or corporate accounting roles.
- Familiarity with payroll processes and regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to perform general ledger reconciliation and account analysis.
- Knowledge of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance requirements.
