Primary
Responsibilities:
Fulfill role as a lead interior designer in the creation of presentations Provide solutions aligned with the client's preferences Attend consultations with sales consultants in customer's home Work in concert with merchandising to update gallery displays Build rapport with repeat customers Work in store with sales staff to identify design clients Create custom room plans for clients using La-Z-Boy's proprietary 3D Room Planner Present your design proposal to clients in the store Visit clients' homes to measure the space and gather information Attend qualifying design deliveries Lead design training for store staff Requirements:
MUST HAVE:
Bachelor's in Interior Design or related design degree Passion for interior design Communication and problem-solving skills Ability to effectively communicate with sales staff as well as clients Design skills, creative and inspirational thinker Goal-driven Deadline driven Physical Requirements:
Must be able to see well enough to read printed materials, computer screens, and across the gallery Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with other employees Must be able to sit, stand, and move around the gallery and occasionally walk briskly Must be able to kneel to pick up items from the ground Must be able to move furniture lifting up to 50 pounds Must be able to type and hold a tablet Software:
